Priscilla Mullins Alden

A Hardy Pilgrim

Priscilla Mullins, a passenger on the Mayflower, found herself very lonely after her father, mother, and brother perished during the first winter in the New World. According to stories handed down by the family, when John Alden approached Priscilla on behalf of Myles Standish, she responded, “Why do you not speak for yourself?”
John and Priscilla were married in Plymouth and had 10 children.
